I don't know how often I will post in this series yet. I will try to do at least two a month, but I might get inspired and do two in a day.
This series was suggested by my friend Warren. My goal is to take the symbolism in the Major Arcana and tie it to seasonal, inherently magical foods. Each entry will include a picture (ripped from google) from the Rider-Waite deck. I don't own this deck, but a lot of people do, and they're fairly easy for many people to read. I will talk about the traditional meanings of the card, the symbols, and also my interpretation of the card. My interpretation might be what the card says to me, what season it reminds me of, or anything. I will also include a recipe for a dish that compliments this card.
I will use a lot of my own recipes. If I use recipes from somewhere around the Internet, I will leave the address to the website.
I hope you enjoy. Please feel free to comment at any time. Thank you for reading so far. I really enjoy hearing from you.

Tarot Cards can be a wonderful keyed gateway to understanding and obtaining connections to what is going on.
I have done tarot readings off and on for many years and use a variety of decks.
The wonderful thing about a tarot is that , yes it has traditional meanings which can be understood and for many people they can be a OH of course that is what it means, as many of the symbols are archetypal and quite often tie into Jungian and other perception maps.
When I look at a tarot card I see a gateway and a way of interpreting a slice of time, purpose and potential.
Food to me is a vital part of life and a integral part of quite often how I am feeling and what is going on. What I eat will quite often effect how I am feeling , thinking, perceiving and moving in this perceptual reality.
Imagine being able to perhaps heighten a perception by using food to accentuate a reading or accentuate a card.
Quite often I will meditate and focus and study a particular card.
I am looking forward to seeing what happens when I interpret a food with a card.
mmm Imagine a three dish reading..
.....
Looking forward to exploring this .
