Revised Mabon Menu

Herb-roasted pork
Pear-hazelnut stuffing
Honey-glazed carrots and parsnips
Green beans with cranberries and walnuts
Two-potato gratin
Rolls
Apple...something. Cake, I think. I haven't decided yet.

What are you planning on serving for Mabon?

Apple crumble!!!

I think I will be making onion quiche this weekend, and serve it with "Federweisser" (very young wine, still sparkling, not much alcohol). And in the weeks to come there will be pumpkin, and lots of it. And soups, and stews, and gratins... ^^

Tonight it's From the Garden Salad and the only thing I know for sure we'll be having Mabon is All Things Harvested Pot Roast (featured today on my blog).

mmmm i made apple cream cheese muffins last week with apples from the trees in the back. AMAZING! so tender and moist, so good!
